The officers, in an effort to redouble the effort and rewards of raiding, have decided to put a hold on 'Progression' efforts of the 25m raid for the next several weeks. In the interim, and additional 10m raid will be set up. Please see Kraigen to be added to the 10m raid list.
Moving forward from this point, Flatline will use Tuesdays to farm 25m ICC. Bosses to be killed will be: Marrowgar, Lady Deathwhisper, Gunship, Saurfang, Festergut, Rotface, Blood Prince Council and, time permitting, the Hallway Gauntlet. This will enable folks to get badges for gear, as well as gain some gear rapidly.
Additionally, with the creation of the new (or possibly 2 new) 10m raid, it will be REQUIRED that all raiders for a 25m Progression raid have accomplished a kill in 10m raid. So, while we don't have a specific date for the 25m raid to resume 2 night a week status, the baseline we are stating at this time is 'When we have 25-30 raiders that can show they have beaten all of the ICC content through Sindragosa'. -
Recently guild ranks were modified at the request of the raid officers in order to better make use of some tools that make invites a bit easier. As a result of these changes, I thinned up the officer related ranks a bit and introduced a new rank, Deputy. While the general rule is that a Deputy is an officer or 'retired' officer, this is not the entire scope of the title. Deputy rank will be given to players who go above and beyond to support the guild, have demonstrated a natural ability to lead, have the ability to deal with and adapt to situations, and are generally aware of enough of the mechanics of the game to be able to assist others. To that end, I would like to introduce the latest Deputy: GiddyGiddy has demonstrated a natural ability to lead, to overcome challenges in game and a strong ability to adapt and learn. He also solo tanked Iron Council, which is epic in itself. He knows his classes, has been a phenomenal help to more than 1 raid, and is on the fast track to being pushed to full officer status if only I could pin him down... ;)That all said, please be aware that while the current officer core may not always make it known that we are watching guildies, we are always watching to see what people bring to the table, and how they represent themselves and the guild. Those who demonstrate the qualities we look for will be rewarded and acknowledged, as we have done with Giddy.Think you have what it takes to be a Deputy? If so, please don't tell us. Show us. Show others. Demonstrate those qualities daily and be recognized.

Flatline is recruiting raiders for ICC25 runs. We currently have 2 scheduled raids per week: Raid 1- Tues-Wednesday, 6:40pm - 10pm and Raid2 on Thursdays, 7:40pm invites. At the moment, Raid1 has 6/9 bosses in ICC down, and Raid2 is 4/9.
All classes and specs are encouraged to apply, but our primary focus is on finding the following:
Healers: Shaman and Druid
Casters: Warlocks and Shadow Priest
DPS: Feral Druid, Hunter, or Warrior
We also host some 4-5 10m raids weekly, with the desire to add a couple more to the schedule to accomidate everything interested in raiding and gearing up.
Feel free to submit an application, or seek out Voden, Skandelous or Cornelius in game to discuss possible openings!
Raid1 uses a 'loot council' system that strives to spread the loot in a balanced and advantageous way for the raid. Raid2 is using open rolls, but will be moving to a DKP system of some sort soon so as to be able to reward the dedicated raiders who tirelessly show up and do their job. -
Skandelous has graciously accepted the position as 10m Liaison Officer, placing him squarely in the middle of all the 10m raids running. His primary duties will be to assist new 10m runs forming, sort of keeping a mental list of who is running in each of the established runs, and providing support to any of the 10m runs to the best of his ability. Also, he will be in training for taking over the vacant Melee DPS Officer role in the 25m raid... and more duties if I can find more to dump on him!So, Grats to Skand, who has demonstrated the ability to jump into the middle of issues, find a resolution and shown some great 'go-getter' spirit as well.

In an effort to meet the desires and goals of our members, I humbly ask that if you have a concern or care, or something that you just want to ask or suggest, please feel free to do so. With recent discussions on how to handle loot, loot priority and much more, it is clear that we have some folks that have strong ideas, suggestions and opinion, and I would like to try to incorporate as many of the great ideas I can. So, starting with the issue of loot, and please see the newest poll in regards to that, I'd like to invite everyone to express their opinions and suggestions.-Cornelius

With Kerianseray taking a break from the game to focus on studies and schooling, we were left with a BIG void to fill. Dimm has graciously accepted the position of DKP and Banking officer, and will be collecting the DKP donations, tracking DKP in raid and helping to manage the guild bank for success.Heavily responsible for the new DKP donation system, Dimm brings a serious understanding of the intrinsic value that donations mean to the guild, and understands the effort put into collecting the things the guild needs. Officially the position of DKP and Banking officer will being on Oct 8th, allowing a scant 24hrs of breathing room for Dimm, but feel free to send him your DKP donations. Please allow a smidge more than the typical 48hrs for the results to be posted during the first few days, as we are tossing him directly into the fire on this one and expect that he will be successful in spite of the overwhelming flood of things he needs to learn TODAY.

Grats to the weekly 25 man raid for downing Anub, and as a follow up, the 10m weekend raid for following suit! Some excellent progress by everyone this week!
